3 Month Update

I have decided to start doing an update about every 3 month's of C's first year.  This is to share with everyone but also for my record until I get a chance to jot down everything in her baby book.

I've noticed that this 3rd month we have hit many milestones.  Caroline is now a "supported sitter" which means she can sit easily in my lap and pretty well in her bumbo seat.  She now eats cereal at bedtime that I will sometimes mix with peaches.  She also eats small amounts of peas, green beans, sweet potatoes and carrots!  When she see's that spoon comin' she opens that little mouth and swallows very well.  When she is extremely hungry she gets frustrated with the jar food and lets out this little fuss as she's eating.  Almost as if she's trying to let me know that she's irritated, but it's better this than nothing.

Caroline LOVES people.  She will smile and squeal at just about anyone.  She is quite verbal and "talks" constantly.  Scott and I joke about how when she gets older we're going to have to say "Shhhh Caroline, quiet time!"  Otherwise we'll never be able to get a word in.  That is if she continues on this chattery path that she's on.

We have just moved C to her crib now and are being very consistent with it.  She goes down about 10:30 p.m. usually, and is waking up at around 6 a.m. to eat.  When she was in her pack-n-play she was sleeping until 7:45-8 a.m., but now that we've made a big change, we've regressed a little bit.  I find myself having to get up in the middle of the night a couple of times to give her her paci and she usually falls back asleep.  I know going from the little infant sleeper in her pack-n-play to a hard flat mattress in her crib is making her feel a little insecure.  She's finally starting to relax, and sleep with those arms above her head and those legs like a frog!

Just a few other things:
Diapers: size 1
Clothing: 3-6 months with a few 0-3 mos. in there sometimes
6-7 bottles a day
About 2 oz. of apple juice a day
Cereal with bottle at night
