A Day In Aggieland!

Last Sunday Scott, my mom and I loaded up Caroline and headed to good 'ol College Station.  I haven't been back to spend an actual day in quite a while.  My has it changed.  All the places where I lived were brand new at the time... now they are getting older.  Made me a little sad.  We went to one of our favorite places to eat, Wings 'N More. Wow!! I was looking around at all the college students and remembering one of the best times in my life.  College was truly an amazing experience and one that I will hold near and dear to my heart forever. You have your true learning experiences and make your true friends in life. Texas A&M is a University like no other.  Of course everyone says that about their beloved school, so I guess we are all a little biased.  But really... it's the best!!!

I can only wish, hope and pray Caroline will choose Texas A&M one day, of course, when her Dad and I get done with her, she will be completely brainwashed, bribed and not really have much of a choice! I kid... kinda.  :)

Ava Grace!!!!

So happy and relieved to announce we finally have chosen a name for our new baby girl!! After a few disagreement's Scott and I both fell in love with Ava Grace Hopewell!! That's one decision made... now for a million more!! I'm so thankful for my health and the fact that I get to have this opportunity to carry my children and be able to make decisions like this.  I'm thankful that I'm stressing over what types of bedding and room colors to do for my girls! We are so extremely blessed and I look forward to our house looking like "pink threw up" all over it! How fun!!

Baby H. #2!!!

I can't believe I'll be starting my 16th week of pregnancy tomorrow, and I haven't shared any sonogram pictures or progress of our soon to be new little blessing!!  Next week we find out if we will be welcoming a baby BOY or GIRL!! We are so excited and anxious I can hardly contain myself!! My three closest friends and all old college roomies are expecting boys, so I'm thinking what are the chances of all four of us expecting boys?  Scott made a joke the other day that he would be the one to have all girls!  Anyway, below are a few sonogram pictures of our latest ultrasound that was about 3 1/2 weeks ago.

I had to share this picture I took of Scott and Caroline.  During pictures she started looking at him out of the corner of her eye and it was the cutest thing I've ever seen!  She adores her Daddy!!!

Lately...

Below are a few pictures I've snapped around the house lately.  Caroline is getting so big and saying and doing new things every day.  We are currently shopping around for her new furniture and the new baby will get her crib and furniture she has now.  She asks to go get in bed every night by herself.  She gathers up Woody, Jessie, Minnie Mouse and her lovie and we head off to her room.  She really enjoys the time to herself, we hear her playing and talking in her crib for about 15-20 minutes then everything gets quiet and she falls asleep. What a good girl!!

We just got back from the doctor for her two year well check and flu shot.  She looks great and is going to probably be about the same height as her mama.  Very long and tall.  She's weighing in at 27 lbs.  She did so good and didn't shed a tear!  We love her so much and couldn't ask for a better little girl.

Elmo's World!!

Last Saturday we celebrated Caroline's 2nd Birthday.  It was Elmo themed this year and it turned out perfectly.  I wanted to go all out and even have Dorothy (Elmo's goldfish) at the party, but they would not let me buy one at the pet store because they can't live in a simple fish bowl. Who knew? Not me! I thought about trying to get sneaky and sending Scott to buy the fish and we just sacrifice it, but I started to feel bad.  Oh well... what lengths Moms will go to!  We missed everyone that could not make it, but had a wonderful time with the family and friends that celebrated with us.
