8 Months

Today is Caroline's 8 month birthday.  I can't believe that in just 4 short months we will be celebrating her 1st birthday.  (Which the planning has begun).  She is such a pleasant baby to be around.  She NEVER cries, and when she's upset, its just a little whimper to let us know she is unhappy.  She is such a great eater and she's losing interest in her formula fast.  She is way more into whats in OUR cups on whats on OUR plates.  I haven't ran across anything that the kid turns her head at.  A lot of our meals I'll puree up a little bowl for her and she gobbles everything down.  With every bite it's "Mmmmmmmmmm", it's so cute.  She adores puffs, crunchies and yogurt melts.  We haven't ran into any problems choking or gagging.  She's mashes and chews everything up like a little pro.  I'm anxious to get to our  9 month check up next month to see where she stands with her weight and length.  I've tried to weigh her myself but I know it's not accurate.

Other things C is up to:

-Size 3 diapers
-Still 6-9 month clothing (The 9 months are still a little baggy)
-4 6oz bottles a day with a jar of food with her breakfast, lunch and dinner bottles.  And then cereal mixed with some fruit with her bedtime bottle.
-Depending on what we have for dinner, she might get a bowl of "mush" from what we're having.
-When we go out to dinner, we have to make sure one of us gets french fries or a side of something soft for her, otherwise we will not be eating in peace.
-Around 3:30 everyday she gets crunchies, puffs, or yogurt melts with juice in her sippy cup.
-She has the sippy cup down!  She will drain that thing in a matter of seconds and then throw it on the floor, or bang it on her highchair tray.
-The girl is officially on the move!!  We're talking up on all fours, tummy of the ground, crawling.  And it's getting pretty darn fast.  She's also starting to pull up on the ottomans.  The coffee table is still a little tall for her.
-She usually takes two long naps a day.  One in the morning lasting about an hour and a half and one in the afternoon lasting anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to 3 hours.

I think that's about it for now!!! She brings such joy in our life and I look forward to hearing her on the monitor every morning playing with her little glo-seahorse and blowing rasberries with her mouth.

Sorry for such a long post, we've just started doing so many new things this month and I'm a proud Momma!

Creepin' up on Mia!

My sweet 8 month old!
