Scott's Dirty Thirty

Scott turned 30 on August 3rd, I know, like I said earlier I've been very neglectful of my blog.  It's been on the bottom of the totem pole lately, but now that things are settling, hopefully I can be more attentive.  Anyway, when I was thinking of ways to celebrate I thought what better way than to have a "Dirty 30 Mustache Bash."  Since he' has a mild obsession with mustaches I found it quite fitting.  We were a little worried nobody would participate but to much of our surprise almost all the guys showed up with a pretty nasty 'stache.  It was a good time, and our lovely neighbors opened up their backyard to allow access to their pool and horseshoe pit. We took down a fence pallet and it allowed the party to flow back and forth perfectly.  Here are some of the pictures, and I'll say right now, there's no words needed for a few of them.

Cupcakes & Mustaches cakes made by your's truly!!

Kinda hard to see, but everything had mustaches! :)

The very bottom says "Group rates apply" I know, tacky, but it was dirty!!

Playing Catch Up!

Wow, have I been so neglectful of the blog lately.  I have sooooo much catching up to do and will try my hardest to get completely caught up by the end of the week.  I can't believe I haven't even uploaded, edited or posted any pictures of Scott's 'Dirty 30 Mustache Bash'. With that being said, I have TONS of pictures to upload and edit.  I was just going through my camera and I have my work cut out for me.  We have been super busy with home improvements, Scott had his busy time at work and in the midst of all that, I'm running myself ragged chasing after an 18 month old and a almost 2 year old.  Not to mention planning that 2 year old's birthday party coming up in a couple of weeks.  Throwing two birthday parties within 6 weeks of each other has wore me out.  Stay tuned, I'll try my hardest, while I'm typing this I find myself typing a sentence and turning around or getting up to see what the girls are up to.  Whew!!!!

Back together!!!

It was a long two weeks for these two to be apart.  Even though I know they have no concept of time, they were on cloud nine when Logan came back on Tuesday!

This picture cracks me up

Logan: "Ok, that's good, enough already" haha

Destin, Florida!!!

This past week we spent the entire week in Destin, Florida.  The WHOLE family.  14 of us total.  It was a lot of fun and I cherish the good times we have like that as a family.  Luckily we had a big enough house to where we could spread out and get out of each others hair for some peace and quiet if need be. Each couple took a night to cook a good dinner and we went out once. It was a long relaxing week but I was happy to get home to Texas.  It was only a 10 hour drive from Houston and Caroline did great.  She's use to the 6 hour drive home to North Texas but I wasn't sure how she would do adding on another 4 hours.  She rocked it!  Lots of Elmo, Nemo, peek a boo, books, and searching for cows and horses got us through.  I couldn't ask for a better little girl!! I want to say thank you to my wonderful husband who organized and put the trip together.  From the fabulous house to the boat we rented to where we bought fresh seafood for seafood night at the house, he had it covered!  Thanks sweetie!! I have a lot of pictures to share so sorry for the photo overload.

Father's Day 2012!

Happy Fathers Day to the two most amazing men in my life!! I couldn't have asked for a more hardworking, supportive, loving Dad.  And Happy Fathers Day to my wonderful husband and father of our precious baby girl!  Scott is the most loving, hands on Dad and I couldn't have chose a better man to spend my life and raise children with!  You're the best!!

Anniversary Dinner!

Even though our real anniversary isn't until Wednesday the 20th, Scott and I decided to have our celebration Saturday night.  Scott's sweet co-worker Diane, watched Caroline for the night.  She is truly awesome and probably the next best thing to C's grandparents so I felt 100% comfortable.  After dropping Caroline off we headed towards the Galleria area to Pappas Bros. Steakhouse.  Scott and I are big steak people and we had never tried out Pappas.  My favorite thus far is still Flemming's but this came in as a close 2nd.  We got to the restaurant early so we could go into the bar and have a couple of drinks and visit.  We sat right next to the piano player who was awesome.  We had a fabulous evening eating and drinking a great wine, but mostly it was the eating!!  Happy 3 year anniversary to my one and only!! I love you with all of my heart and there is not a better man out there! Caroline and I are very lucky girls!!

Flower's the restaurant had at our table! They also comped our key lime pie dessert! Nice!

Pretty flowers my husband brought me in our wedding day colors!!

Gunter High School Graduation!

This past weekend Scott, Caroline and I headed up to North Texas for a long relaxing weekend and my nephew Jake's, graduation from high school.  We had a wonderful time spending time with family and a few friends.  Silly me forgot to put the camera on our packing list, and lets face it, if it's not on the packing list, it will not get packed.  I could have kicked myself.  So below are camera phone pictures.

Scott and I with the graduate and hopefully future Aggie!! ;)
